Wood rots mostly because of mold
Wood decay is mostly the result of mold infestation. Hydrolytic enzymes in wood rot bacteria can decompose cellulose, lignin and cell contents, which make up wood cell walls, as raw materials for growth. Continuous absorption reduces the toughness of wood gradually until it loses all carrying capacity.
With the improvement of people's living standard, the demand for wood is also increasing day by day. The forest resources available for logging in China are very limited and it is unrealistic to expect to import timber with large amounts of foreign exchange. Water-borne (water-soluble) mildew proof agent: it is soluble in water, water as the carrier of wood mildew proof agent.
Organic solvent (oil-borne, oil-soluble) mildew control agent: Wood mildew control agent containing insecticide, fungicide, or a combination of both, dissolved in an organic solvent.
Oil anti-mildew agent: anticorrosive oil, coal tar, anthracene oil.
