Solutions for the deterioration of colorful coatings
Colorful paint is mainly used in imitation stone paint, so it is also called liquid stone, also known as imitation granite exterior wall paint. It is composed of incompatible two-phase components, of which one phase dispersion medium is a continuous phase, and the other phase is a dispersed phase. When painting, luxurious, beautiful and colorful patterns can be obtained by one-time spraying.
The composition of colorful paint
It consists of two insoluble phases, namely continuous phase and dispersed phase. Continuous phase, composed of dispersant, stabilizer and other additives, water; Dispersed phase, consisting of emulsion, additive, pigment, water or synthetic resin, toughening agent, additive, pigment, solvent.
Colorful paint spoilage phenomenon
Colorful paint in the storage and transportation process of deterioration, so that finished products, semi-finished products after opening the barrel smell, some appear water separation, precipitation phenomenon, surface gray, serious mildew, black and other phenomena.
Reasons for the deterioration of colorful paint
1, the formula design of multi-color paint is unreasonable, the amount of anti-corrosion fungicide is insufficient or the quality is poor;
2, storage time is too long, beyond the shelf life, especially in the summer more likely to deteriorate;
3. The production process does not meet the requirements for the health degree of equipment and production environment;
4, the packaging is damaged, the sealing is not good, and the multi-color paint is contaminated.
Colorful paint spoilage solution
Keep the tools dry and clean before production, and prohibit sewage and water in the production site. Wherever there's water, there's bacteria. Once the bacteria exceed the standard, it will cause the deterioration of the product. So we have to carry out effective sterilization, anti-corrosion treatment.
First, rapid sterilization
1) For each phase of the production of colorful coatings, an appropriate amount of fungicide must be added.
2) The best use range of cassone fungicides is between pH8-9, and the temperature is <45℃. If the amount of multi-functional addition is too much or the pH value of the product exceeds 10 or more, the bactericide of cassone is basically ineffective. In the production process, we keep in mind the temperature and pH range of the bactericide.
3) After mixing the three colorful phases, try to add about 2‰ of fungicide for sterilization.
4) Fungicide in the use of colorful household products - be sure to test its integration with the protective glue and emulsion. Improper selection will cause yellowing, gelling and flocculation of emulsion.
5) High temperature in summer, some fungicides will decay active substances during storage and transportation, and there is a risk of anti-corrosion failure. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the amount of fungicide appropriately in areas with high temperature and high humidity and seasons.
6) The fungicide will decompose and fail at high temperature and high pH value, and the fungicide is best added at the paint mixing stage.
Second, long-term anticorrosion
General fungicides, after the sterilization itself is consumed and decomposed, in order to effectively and long-term preservation of the product, the product needs to add the appropriate amount of long-term preservatives to ensure the long-term storage of the product. Returned and deteriorated products are prohibited from being added to new products to avoid cross-infection.
