Sanitary wipes and disinfection wipes to kill microorganisms indicators
The microbiological indicators, microbiological indicators, test bacteria suspension concentration, and detection time of the two types of wet wipes are quite different. Compared with sanitary wipes, disinfection wipes have stricter testing requirements/test indicators, which are more effective for disinfection. The choice and amount of agent are more cautious.
At present, the sterilization test of sanitary wipes, most testing institutions and wet wipes manufacturers, select the sterilization test of GB15979-2002, the required test bacteria suspension concentration is 1*105-9*105 cfu/ml, the effect is 2, 5 , 10, 20min four time periods, as long as there is a time period when the test data meets the requirements, it can be considered qualified. The new sanitary wet wipes industry standard (WS575-2017) strictly requires the sterilization performance test of the product to select the corresponding action time according to the product use.
The killing index of disinfectant wipes is stricter than that of sanitary wipes. The required test bacteria suspension concentration is 1*108-5*108cfu/ml (bacteria), 1*107-5*107cfu/ml (fungi), The amount of bacteria is higher and the difficulty is greater.
From the perspective of killing index requirements, sanitary wipes are considered to have a sterilization effect if the sterilization is ≥90%. The killing index of disinfectant wipes must reach 99.9% (carrier method) and 99.999% (suspension method) (GB "Sanitary Requirements for Wet Wipes Disinfected Products" (draft for comments).
The killing index requirements in the group standard: the log killing value should be ≥5.00 (suspension method), the killing log value should be ≥3.00 (carrier method), and the disinfection field test killing log value should be ≥1.00.
For disinfection wet wipes, the detection time required to reach the killing index within the specified time. The biggest difference from sanitary wipes is that it adds regulations on the skin of injection and puncture sites, as well as medical equipment and medical supplies. In terms of the action time of the surface of the object, the action time of the disinfectant wipes also needs to be less than the action time of the sanitary wipes, and it is qualified to meet the killing requirements as soon as possible.
